Holy Communion Service

​In the absence of a priest, Holy Communion Services are offered on several days during the week. These provide the opportunity to hear the readings for the day and experience the Liturgy of the Word and to receive Holy Communion.

We are grateful to our lay ministers who make these celebrations possible and lead us in prayer. All are welcome to attend these services!

Parents and Toddlers Group

On Monday mornings during the school term, this group meets in the church hall at St. Mary’s. The group gathers from 10.30am until 12.00pm and children aged from birth to school age are most welcome. The cost is £1.50 per session for one child, or £2.50 per session for two children.

Parental Information Evening: Sacrament of Confirmation

​There will be an information evening for parents/carers of children in Primary 7 who are preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation later this year. This is an opportunity to hear from school staff about the preparations taking place and from church representatives about the celebration itself. We look forward to seeing you for this important evening!

The meeting will begin with our parish Lenten Service and will take place in the church immediately after the service.

Lenten Service

Each Tuesday evening during Lent we will gather at St Mary's to pray and reflect together. We will begin with the Stations of the Cross, which will be followed by a Holy Communion Service.

All are very welcome to join us as we journey through Lent and prepare for the events of Holy Week and Easter to come.

Music and Movement Group

The Music and Movement Group meets weekly on a Friday morning in the church hall, from 10.30am – 12.00pm. Exercises take place from 10.30am – 11.30am, and the final half-hour is reserved for tea, coffee, biscuits and conversation. The group is full at present, however names are being taken for a waiting list. The cost is £2.50 per session.
