Parental Information Evening: Sacrament of First Reconciliation
As a result of the changing circumstances of the pandemic, the arrangements for this celebration may be subject to change, depending on the restrictions in place. However, I can confirm that we are planning to celebrate the Sacrament of First Reconciliation at St Mary’s Church on Wednesday 26th May 2021 at 7pm, and that the service will be led by Fr. Forrest, our parish priest.
In the meantime, as your child begins their preparation for this Sacrament, I would like to extend an invitation to you as their parents/carers to attend an online information evening. At this session, I will be joined by school staff and we will seek to answer the following questions:
You will also have an opportunity to share any other questions you may have.

What will happen at the celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation?
What will be covered in their preparation in school, and how can I help them at home?
If you have any questions or would like to register to attend this event, please email callum.timms@rcboness.org.

During Holy Week, it is traditional for St Mary’s to host an Ecumenical Way of the Cross. We are struck each year by the reflections from ministers from our fellow Christian congregations in Bo’ness as we reflect on Jesus’ sorrowful Way of the Cross. This year we will broadcast this service online, and you can join us on our Facebook page here and on our website here.
