The Offertory Collections last weekend amounted to £402.72 including a donation of £46 - grateful thanks to all donors. On St Andrew’s night a total of £154 was raised from the raffle in aid of St Mary’s Primary School Fair Fund

The Finance and Fabric and Health and Safety Committees meet in the hall at 3pm today.  The Finance Committee is looking for someone with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel to help with its work. If you are that person please have a chat with Tony, Chair of the committee.

SVP News – Help for the Housebound – as we resume our activities after Covid, we will restart our Christmas gift voucher scheme for the housebound. In case we miss anyone by mistake, do let us know anyone in this position with their address.

Scout Post: The Scout Post is running again this year. A post box will be available in the church hall and Christmas cards will be delivered within Bo’ness and stamps are only 30p each! The last collection will be Sunday 18th December.

Advent Rosary for Life: Join people from across the Archdiocese to pray for unborn children, their mothers and all pro-life intentions. Includes a reflection from a priest of the Archdiocese each week. Each Wednesday in Advent, 7:45pm – 8:20pm. Register at bit.ly/archprolifeevents (Zoom event ).

Light from Light: choral music for Advent by candlelight: This December be uplifted with a candlelit Advent music concert from the Schola Cantorum of St Mary’s Cathedral in Edinburgh. They will sing at the following churches: St Francis Xavier's in Falkirk on Wednesday 7 December; St Patrick's in Kilsyth on Saturday 10 December; St Margaret's in Dunfermline on Friday 16 December. Bookshop: St Paul's Bookshop is open at St Mary’s Cathedral in Edinburgh. It has a wide range of Christian books as well as gift items. Find your perfect stocking filler there! Opening hours are 10:00am to 5:30pm, including weekends (closed Mondays).

Female vocations: Thinking about a vocation to the religious life? Join other young Catholic women to chat and explore God's will in five monthly get-togethers in Edinburgh. Led by Sr Mirjam Hugens FSO, the first one takes place on Sunday 29 January, 4-7pm at St Columba’s, 9 Upper Gray Street. It is a chance to pray, share and discuss in a relaxed environment, and refreshments will be served. Holy Hour with Archbishop Cushley: Join Archbishop Cushley for Eucharistic Adoration at St Margaret’s Chapel at the Gillis Centre, 100 Strathearn Road, Edinburgh, to pray for “insight, courage and joy in our mission,” as part of the Synod 2023. It takes place at 6pm on the following Sundays: 18 Dec, 10 Jan, 12 Feb, 12 Mar. No registration required, just turn up and pray.
