News.....

Exposition: Thursday Evenings 6.30-7.00PM - Jesus, during His agony in the garden, asked Peter “So you had not the strength to keep awake with me for one hour”? Can you spare 15-30 minutes to be sit with Christ (to stay awake with Him) during Exposition?

General Volunteer Registration: As part of our Safeguarding procedures, it is essential that we hold accurate and up to date details on all volunteers. If you take part in regulated work (routinely working with children or vulnerable adults) you must have a PVG and have completed safeguarding training with the Church. For all other roles (including, but not limited to, Readers, Eucharistic Ministers, Gardeners, Cleaners, Minibus Drivers, Committee Members, SSVP and any other role supporting the parish) you must complete the online form at: https://bit.ly/volunteeratstmarys. Please let us know if you don’t have internet access and we’ll support you with completing this.

Parish Pastoral Council – the next meeting will take place on Wednesday the 9th of July 2025 at 7pm in the church hall. Everyone is welcome.

Direct Debits – At the moment we have current accounts with both Virgin Money and RBS but, to align with the Archdiocese account, we are closing the Virgin Money account and operating only with the RBS. A few of you have Direct Debits with Virgin Money for your regular giving each week or month and these will need to be replaced to reflect this change. Tony or William will have the forms for you after Mass.

The Offertory Collection last weekend amounted to £427.95 and the special collection in aid of Peterspence raised £221; in addition, £345 per month is given through the direct debit facility. Grateful thanks to all donors.
