Leaving lockdown... what does this mean for the Church?

You may have seen some news in the press about our churches reopening for private prayer. We are keeping a close eye on this situation, and have received advice from the Archdiocese of St. Andrews and Edinburgh which will inform our next steps.

We have lots of planning to do in advance of any formal announcement from the Scottish Government that this will be possible, and we are likely to need a team of volunteers to support such an effort. We will keep you updated as these plans develop.

In your charity, please remember in your prayers...

All of our sick parishioners, and Margaret Duffy, Andrew Moffat, Michael McAvoy, Margaret Boyd, Robert Murray, George Savage, Margaret Green (Maxwell), Lawrence Kilgallon, William Dickson, Dorothy Mulraney, Jeanie Rutherford, Rose Martin, Margaret Morgan, Walter Snedden, Alexander Hanlon, Linda Carlin, Bobby Madden, and Denis McLaughlin whose anniversaries occur about this time.

Also, Fionna Downie, Bill Brown and John Collins who died recently.
